Contact Lens Optician is a person who, are authorized by state law and are trained or certified to do so, may fit or dispense contact lenses to a patient based on the prescription of an optometrist or medical physician.

Ophthalmic Technologist provides assistance to ophthalmologists performing eye care. Their duties include conducting diagnostic tests, sending and retrieving lab work, helping during eye exams and aiding during surgery.
