Ophthalmic Technologist provides assistance to ophthalmologists performing eye care. Their duties include conducting diagnostic tests, sending and retrieving lab work, helping during eye exams and aiding during surgery. They also provide patients with instructions in the proper use of corrective lenses.
Optometric Technician perform a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in eye examinations and corrective procedures.
